Concierge Riggins: Whether it’s on or off the court, Cici Riggins makes it a point to give it her all. As a graduating senior at Hamilton High School, Cici is involved in basketball, track, and ASTRA service organization. One of her favorite things about her time at Hamilton High is her time spent on the basketball team, where she is a point guard and a shooting guard. Cici plans to attend college and further her education in either business or engineering. “Hamilton is so welcoming and makes sure everyone is in the right state of mind and on track for their future plans.”
Tori Jarvis: Between competitive figure skating, cheerleading, and the ski club, Tori Jarvis still manages to find time to participate in the Ambassador program at Badin High School. Tori has made the most of her time at Badin, including a mission trip her junior year to help provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. After graduation, Tori plans to attend Kent State University to study fashion design. Around Hamilton, Tori enjoys the High Street and Main Street activities, including True West and Petals & Wicks.
Henry Wysong: Henry Wysong spent his time in high school training for his future in a different way than most, by participating in the NJROTC program offered by Hamilton High School. After he graduates, Henry plans to join the United States Army as a signal intelligence analyst. He wants to attend college to learn about neurology. He intends to continue his military service during college through the ROTC program and graduate as a commissioned officer. His goal is to serve and help improve the understanding of the brain and nervous system. “NJROTC has given me something to be proud of and helped me develop as a good leader.”
Mike Rand: During his time at Badin High School, Mike Rand has participated in many activities, including cross country, track and field, and JETS (Junior Engineering Technical Society). Mike has plans to major in biomedical engineering and minor in statistics while at college. His goal is to study the risks and rewards of prosthetic limbs while designing innovative devices. “I was fortunate enough to be able to intern for the city this past summer. I met so many citizens of Hamilton who were so kind and loving. I love the way Hamiltonians interact with each other.”
Morgan Mayer: Morgan Mayer has had her hands full at Hamilton High, serving as an officer of the National Honor Society, ASTRA, Youth Philanthropy Committee, Student Council, Hamilton Youth Commission, and the varsity soccer team. She has committed to attend The Ohio State University, majoring in speech and hearing science. She plans to later get her masters in speech language pathology and become a speech therapist. “My favorite thing about Hamilton is the community and atmosphere. Over the years, Hamilton has been on the rise and has been developing. Hamilton is home. It feels like home.”
Daniel Sutton: National Honor Society president and student council treasurer Daniel Sutton has some big aspirations. After he graduates from Hamilton High School, he plans to double major in international relations and Mandarin Chinese, and minor in linguistics. He hopes to one day become an attorney and run for President of the United States in the 2036 election. Daniel views Hamilton as a tight knit community of leaders who support the endeavors of the students in the city. “I was not born in Ohio, but Hamilton has become my home.”
Isabelle Munafo: Isabelle Munafo spends her time volunteering at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, tutoring, participating in 4-H, and serving on the Youth Philanthropy Committee. Her primary focus is the wide range of art classes offered by Badin High School. Through this, she has been able to fine-tune her goals for college. She plans to major in art and minor in psychology and later earn a master’s concentrating on art therapy, as well as a Ph.D. in psychology. Using those tools, Isabelle hopes to help people who suffer with PTSD and dementia. “I really got to watch Hamilton blossom as I was able to participate through the Street Spark mural selection committee.”
Ashley Schappacher: The future is bright for songbird Ashley Schappacher of Hamilton High School. She is currently involved in the Vocal Elegance show choir, Rhapsody in Blue show choir, drama club, Junior State of America, ASTRA, and the varsity golf team. Ashley feels that her time spent with the Rhapsody in Blue show choir has been the highlight of her high school career, especially this year when the choir won their second grand championship. She plans to attend Bowling Green State University majoring in business analytics and intelligence, and minoring in finance. Ashley appreciates the city of Hamilton’s ability to maintain its character and inclusivity, as well as the growth and development of small businesses.
Christopher Hetterich: Christopher Hetterich stays busy between Badin High School’s INTERalliance program, DECA, soccer, tennis, and the fishing club. With an interest in technology and programming, Christopher plans to participate in a technology-based internship over the summer and attend Miami University next year with a major in interactive media studies. He hopes to one day own a business that uses technology to improve people’s lives. When it comes to Hamilton, Christopher enjoys the variety of activities in the area.
Elias Tzoc-Pacheco: ASTRA, National Honor Society, and Junior State of America are just some of the ways in which Elias Tzoc-Pacheco has spent his time at Hamilton High School. In addition, he has also already completed an internship with the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine, where he participated in heart attack research using mice. Elias is planning to attend either Columbia University or Johns Hopkins University to study biomedical engineering and computer science, with minors in French and public health. Long-term, Elias hopes to attain medical and doctoral degrees to become a physician and scientist. “The best thing about Hamilton is the welcoming attitude people have. My family immigrated here from Guatemala, but we were received wonderfully by the community.”
